Abstract

The article examines a series of cross-cultural cases that reveal the problems of intercultural interaction of dissimilar Others in the educational space of a university implementing international programs and conceptualized as a glocal eduscape. Based on the analysis of problem situations in the cases, solutions are proposed based on the understanding that successful interaction of participants in the educational process as agents of change in the eduscape requires the construction and co-construction of a new and dissimilar Other (Stranger and Alien). From Kant to Krupp is considered as a ‘Russian’ counterpart to Langbehn’s work.
