This paper examines the concept and editorial process behind a thematic issue of the journal devoted to the discourse of the Other. It outlines the conceptual framework and interdisciplinary approaches that guided the selection of materials. The text maps the problem field where philosophical, religious studies, anthropological, literary, and other scholarly perspectives intersect. It also analyzes which editorial ideas were successfully implemented, which remained beyond the scope of the issue, and offers the editorial team’s view on the final content of the volume.
