The article is devoted to topical issues of modern Western Philosophy of Science. Non-traditional approaches to the analysis of the nature of scientific knowledge are subject to consideration. So, A. Pickering, following M. Heidegger, puts forward the concept of poesis, the assumption that there are other ways of knowing the world, in addition to the “strong” knowledge of modern science. M. Koro and J. Wolgemuth put forward the theory of “responsible methodologies” that respond and adapt to changing socio-political conditions.
