The statute of perception category in H. Maturana’s linguistic theory: Perception and cognition as interrelated processes of the living system’s adaptation to the environmental factors (OPEN ACCESS)

Abstract

The article deals with the peculiarities of the understanding of the perception process in the H. Maturana’s biological cognition theory. The relations with the cognition process and its results are shown. The relation of H. Maturana’s theory with the other metaphysical theories such as A. Schopenhauer’s philosophy and J.L. Weisgerber’s language theory is demonstrated too.
