The article examines shaming as a discriminatory communication practice and as a consequence of the anonymity of Internet communication. The processes of perception and comprehension of the Internet text with shaming elements are analyzed with the “counter text” method developed by A.I. Novikov. A quantitative and qualitative analysis of the reactions of recipients is carried out, dominant reactions within one field are determined. It is concluded that the evaluation reaction is dominant.
